Grievance Redressal Policy and Mechanism
The goal of the Students Discipline, Grievance Redressal, and Anti-Ragging Subcommittee, a statutory organization established by Government General Degree College Dantan-II, is to give college students a welcoming atmosphere for learning and personal growth. It seeks to defend students' rights and interests while resolving disagreements and addressing concerns swiftly in order to foster a healthy and encouraging learning environment. Students are informed about this grievance redressal mechanism at orientation. Should the need arise, they can use this form to submit their concerns via a Google form on the college website, or they can file them offline and place them in the relevant drop boxes. Fairness, early resolution, and individual privacy and secrecy are all promoted by the caring, equitable, and successful.
In addition to other welfare measures, a grievance redressal procedure is set up to encourage students to voice individual and group grievances about both academic and non-academic matters. The grievance redressal method consists of the following steps:
  1. Grievance Submission: Students can file their grievances online via the college's Google Form or by writing them down in an offline Grievance Drop Box. Details like the nature of the problem, pertinent facts, and any supporting documentation should all be included in the grievance.
  2. Investigation and Review: The college's Grievance Redressal subcommittee conducts a comprehensive investigation into the grievance, compiling pertinent data and, if required, speaking with the parties concerned. This process could entail looking over grievance-related documentation, holding meetings, or reviewing policies.
  3. Resolution: The Grievance Redressal subcommittee attempts to reach a just and impartial resolution based on the investigation's findings.
  4. Follow-up: To make sure the complaint has been successfully resolved, the cell may get in touch with the complainant again after the settlement.
  5. . Reporting and Documentation: All grievances received, actions taken, and results attained are documented by the Grievance Redressal subcommittee.
